ABOVE - a curious note about Anna Neller in Tante Liesel's and Desley's handwriting. I wish they had recorded their conversations because this is the only record I have of them.
You mentioned the Neller Sisters and thought you might be interested to know there were at least 2 brothers, Medardus and Georg. There are two male symbols saying 2 brothers went to Amerika (Oma's note).
Just looked up the meaning of the first name Medardus - a Franconian Saint who was patron of "farmers, winegrowers and brewers". So funny as I married a farmer with a butchery and farm shop and we also have a brewery on site now! I feel like our family's ghosts keep playing tricks on me !
